BETHANY, Mo. - University of Missouri-Extension faculty are gearing up to help board members serve their community.
Build Your Board is a new statewide, virtual training program that teaches what it takes to be a serving board member for any organization.
County Engagement Specialist Jackie Spainhower told KXCV/KRNW that the main goal of the program is for members to understand their responsibilities when they are in leadership positions.
Build Your Board will be offered on Tuesdays and Thursdays from noon to 1p.m. starting April 22. A registration fee is required. More information can be found at extension.missouri.edu/events.KXCV-KRNW
